The Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) basketball nipped the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 64-57 in Monday's non-league test.

The Patriots (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Cadets go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Benedictine got by Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA), 62-56, in a non-league test.
