Illinois High School Basketball - Downers Grove North fells Lincoln-Way Central

January 15, 2024: New Lenox, IL 60451

Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 47-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Downers Grove North upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Lyons (LaGrange, IL) to play the Lions in a West Suburban - Silver bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Lyons lost 62-43 in their recent non-league bout against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)

Next up, the Knights play the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record.
