January 15, 2024: Hillside, NJ 07205 The Hillside Comets basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Weequahic Indians to 22 in the Comets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Comets now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Hillside will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-6.
The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Caldwell Tech (West Caldwell, NJ). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, West Caldwell Tech triumphed over Shabazz (Newark, NJ), 36-21, in a non-league contest.
