January 15, 2024: LaGrange, IL 60525 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) and the host Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), saw Yorkville's basketball squad overcome Lyons by a tally of 62-43.
With the victory, Yorkville improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 18-3. Romeoville won 65-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Aurora East (Aurora, IL)
Next up, the Lions confront the Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Lyons will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 47-35 non-league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL).
