Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge overwhelmed by Sickles

The Sickles Gryphons basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host River Ridge Royal Knights to 45 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Monday.

The Gryphons now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palm Harbor University for a contest on Wednesday, January 17. Sickles will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 68-41 non-league loss to St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-7.

The Royal Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Pirates come into the contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Pasco was routed by Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL), 44-25, in a non-league contest.
