Washington High School Basketball - Selkirk overwhelmed by Wellpinit
January 15, 2024: Ione, WA 99139 The Wellpinit Redskins basketball team scored 87 points and restricted the host Selkirk Rangers to 25 in the Redskins non-league victory on Monday.
The Redskins now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chewelah for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Wellpinit will battle a Cougars team coming off a 42-39 non-league loss to Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-8.
The Rangers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia (Hunters, WA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Columbia triumphed over Curlew (Curlew, WA), 29-21, in a non-league contest.
