New York High School Basketball - Oakfield-Alabama nips Byron-Bergen
January 15, 2025: Bergen, NY 14416 In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Oakfield-Alabama Hornets basketball team scored a close 44-42 triumph over the Byron-Bergen Bees.
The Hornets (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander (Alexander, NY). The Trojans go into the Section 5 Genesee 1 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Alexander nipped Wheatland-Chili (Scottsville, NY), 71-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bees battle the Wheatland-Chili Wildcats (Scottsville, NY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Byron-Bergen will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 47-38 non-league win over Kendall (Kendall, NY).
