Missouri High School Basketball - Leeton overwhelms Santa Fe
January 15, 2025: Leeton, MO 64761 The Leeton Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Harrisonville for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Leeton will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 61-40 non-league loss to Nevada (Nevada, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Santa Fe falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Sweet Springs (Sweet Springs, MO) to confront the Greyhounds in a I-70 game on Friday, January 17. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 3-10. Sweet Springs won 54-23 in their recent non-league game against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MO)
