The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) and the visiting Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO), observed St. Michael the Archangel's basketball team overwhelm Marshall by a score of 71-33.

The Guardians (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Kansas City, MO). The Blue Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record.

In their next game, the Owls battle the Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Cameron (Cameron, MO).
