Maine High School Basketball - Sacopee Valley fells Richmond
January 15, 2025: Cornish, ME 04041 The Sacopee Valley Hawks basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Richmond Bobcats to 38 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hawks now have a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Old Orchard Beach for a C South game on Friday, January 17. Sacopee Valley will confront a Seagulls team coming off a 72-31 league win over North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Seagulls record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Richmond falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-5. Islesboro Central won 60-33 in their recent league game against North Haven (North Haven, ME)
