In Wednesday's league contest, the host Redwood Giants basketball team scored a close 55-48 triumph over the San Rafael Bulldogs.

The Giants (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Montgomery was tipped by Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA), 40-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) in a contest, on Saturday, January 25. San Rafael will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
