California High School Basketball - San Mateo triumphant over Jefferson
January 15, 2025: Daly City, CA 94014 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) and the host Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA), observed San Mateo's basketball team overwhelm Jefferson by a margin of 54-21.
The Bearcats (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Capuchino was trounced by El Camino (South San Francisco, CA), 37-21, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Oceana Sharks (Pacifica, CA) in a Peninsula - Ocean challenge, on Friday, January 17. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 47-35 league loss to Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA).
