January 15, 2025: Covington, LA 70433 The Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) basketball toppled the host Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), 50-38 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pearl River for a 4A District 7 bout on Friday, January 17. Loranger will play a Rebels team coming off a 38-34 non-league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Northlake Christian falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA) to play the Jaguars in a 2A District 9 bout on Friday, January 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Pope John Paul II won 44-27 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA)
