Oregon High School Basketball - Perrydale bested by Umpqua Valley Christian
January 15, 2025: Amity, OR 97101 Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) followers were in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their basketball team beat the host Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR), 50-37 in a non-league bout.
The Monarchs now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Days Creek for a 1A Skyline bout on Friday, January 17. Umpqua Valley Christian will play a Wolves team coming off a 55-17 league loss to Powers (Powers, OR). The Wolves record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Perrydale falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-4.
