Vermont High School Ice Hockey - Champlain Valley Union holds off Milton
January 15, 2025: Hinesburg, VT 05461 The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Milton Yellowjackets to 4 in the Redhawks non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Redhawks now hold a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colchester for a bout on Saturday, January 18. Champlain Valley Union will play a Lakers team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Lakers record now stands at 2-5.
With the defeat, Milton moves to 2-6 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT) to play the Cougars in a bout on Saturday, January 18. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Mt. Mansfield won 6-2 in their recent league bout against Woodstock (Woodstock, VT)
