January 15, 2025: Falls Church, VA 22043 Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA), 47-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Meridian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Skyline (Front Royal, VA) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 8-0. Skyline won 51-42 in their recent non-league match against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)
The Gryphons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park View for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28.
