January 15, 2025: Mesa, AZ 85213 In Wednesday's league outing, the host Mountain View Toros soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Westwood Warriors.
The Toros (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Coyotes go into the 6A East Valley outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Skyline by Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Maryvale Panthers (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 20. Westwood will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over West Point (Avondale, AZ).
