North Carolina High School Basketball - South Wake succumbs to Grace Christian

January 15, 2026: Sanford, NC 27332

In Thursday's non-league test, the Grace Christian Crusaders (Sanford, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a final score of 72-62.

Next, the Crusaders clash with the Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 16. Grace Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Ravens come into the test with a 8-10 record after their 41-37 league win over North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).

The Sabres (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Cresset Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league bout with a 10-11 record. In their last bout, Cresset Christian Academy fell by Winston Salem Christian National (Winston-Salem, NC), 79-50, in a non-league bout.
