Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hephzibah Rebels (Hephzibah, GA), 57-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Beach upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA) to play the Hornets in a AAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Savannah Country Day won 56-54 in their recent non-league bout against Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) in a AAA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Hephzibah will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Musketeers come into the battle with a 5-8 record after their 73-47 league loss to Harlem (Harlem, GA).
