Louisiana High School Basketball - East St. John crushes Belaire
January 16, 2023: Reserve, LA 70084 East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Belaire Bengals (Baton Rouge, LA), 71-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, East St. John upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Terrebonne (Houma, LA) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Terrebonne lost 60-51 in their recent league battle against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA)
The Bengals (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA). The Indians come into the 4A District 6 battle with a 3-13 record.
