Ohio High School Basketball - Fairfield Union nips Bishop Hartley
January 16, 2023: Columbus, OH 43227 Fairfield Union Falcons (Lancaster, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH), 40-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fairfield Union upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH) to play the Scotties in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Scotties go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Tri-Valley lost 42-35 in their recent non-league bout against St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Hawks play the St. Francis DeSales Stallions (Columbus, OH) in a Central Catholic bout, on Friday, January 20. Bishop Hartley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Stallions go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 42-35 non-league win over Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH).
