The West Central Area Knights basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Brandon/Evansville Chargers to 44 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sauk Centre for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. West Central Area will battle a Mainstreeters team coming off a 59-36 league win over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Mainstreeters record now stands at 7-1.

The Chargers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ashby (Ashby, MN). The Arrows enter the A Section 6 contest with a 1-4 record.
