Wyoming High School Basketball - Burns can't hold off Shoshoni
January 16, 2023: Shoshoni, WY 82649 The Shoshoni Wranglers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Burns Broncs to 61 in the Wranglers non-league victory on Monday.
The Wranglers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wind River for a 2A Northwest contest on Friday, January 20. Shoshoni will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-49 non-league win over Rocky Mountain (Cowley, WY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.
The Broncs (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Niobrara County (Lusk, WY). The Tigers come into the 2A Southeast contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Niobrara County was nudged by Lingle-Fort Laramie (Lingle, WY), 90-63, in a league contest.
