Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Branch nips Cambria Heights

January 16, 2023: Morrisdale, PA 16858

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) and the visiting Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA), saw West Branch's basketball squad hold off Cambria Heights by a count of 65-59.

With the victory, West Branch upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA) to play the Trojans in a Inter County - North challenge on Friday, January 20. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Mount Union won 69-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Cambria Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
