Michigan High School Basketball - Dakota nudges Stoney Creek
January 16, 2023: Macomb, MI 48044 Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI), 45-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dakota upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Cougars host Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Sterling Heights Stevenson lost 67-38 in their recent league bout against Roseville (Roseville, MI)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Rochester Falcons (Rochester Hills, MI) in a Oakland - Blue bout, on Friday, January 20. Stoney Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 55-43 league win over Seaholm (Birmingham, MI).
