Louisiana High School Basketball - Oakdale crushes Episcopal of Acadiana
January 16, 2023: Cade, LA 70518 Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA), 73-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oakdale improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Pickering (Leesville, LA) to confront the Red Devils in a 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Pickering lost 63-55 in their recent league challenge against Rosepine (Rosepine, LA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA) in a B District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Episcopal of Acadiana will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Sulphur (Sulphur, LA).
