The Franklin Quakers basketball team (Seattle, WA), was toppled 64-54 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA)

The Royals now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn for a 3A/4A North Puget Sound battle on Tuesday, January 17. Kent-Meridian will confront a Trojans team coming off a 65-61 league win over Kentwood (Covington, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-5.
