January 16, 2023: Kent, WA 98030 The Franklin Quakers basketball team (Seattle, WA), was toppled 64-54 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA)
The Royals now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn for a 3A/4A North Puget Sound battle on Tuesday, January 17. Kent-Meridian will confront a Trojans team coming off a 65-61 league win over Kentwood (Covington, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-5.
The Quakers (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ingraham (Seattle, WA). The Rams come into the 3A Metro battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Ingraham beat Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA), 60-56, in a league battle.
