Alabama High School Basketball - Oak Mountain knocked off by Grissom
January 16, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35242 The Grissom Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Oak Mountain Eagles to 44 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakwood Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Grissom will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 62-34 league win over Valley Head (Valley Head, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-4.
The Eagles (17-7) will now prepare for their contest against Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Jaguars enter the 7A Area 6 contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Spain Park ran past Hartselle (Hartselle, AL), 74-59, in a non-league contest.
