January 16, 2023: Peoria, IL 61603 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) and the visiting Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL), saw Peoria Christian's basketball squad wallop Henry-Senachwine by a tally of 54-24.
With the victory, Peoria Christian improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Chargers host Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL) to confront the Tigers in a Tomahawk contest on Friday, January 20. The Mallards (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Crusaders come into the Tri-County contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Marquette triumphed over Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL), 75-42, in a league contest.
