New York High School Basketball - Hornell ripped by Newark
January 16, 2023: Hornell, NY 14843 The Newark Reds basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Hornell Red Raiders to 62 in the Reds non-league triumph on Monday.
The Reds now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest on Wednesday, January 18.
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Dansville Mustangs (Dansville, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston County I bout, on Friday, January 20. Hornell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 69-61 league loss to Livonia (Livonia, NY).
