January 16, 2023: La Crescent, MN 55947 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) and the visiting Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN), saw La Crescent's basketball squad wallop Wabasha-Kellogg by a tally of 67-43.
With the victory, La Crescent improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a AA Section 1 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Plainview-Elgin-Millville won 70-57 in their recent league challenge against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN)
Next up, the Falcons play the Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Wabasha-Kellogg will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 62-53 non-league win over St. Charles (St. Charles, MN).
