Missouri High School Basketball - Tipton holds off Linn
January 16, 2023: Tipton, MO 65081 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Tipton Cardinals (Tipton, MO) and the visiting Linn Wildcats (Linn, MO), saw Tipton's basketball squad hold off Linn by a tally of 60-53.
With the victory, Tipton improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Northwest (Hughesville, MO) to confront the Mustangs in a Kaysinger challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Northwest won 46-37 in their recent league challenge against Stover (Stover, MO)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the California Pintos (California, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Linn will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Pintos come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 59-53 non-league loss to Moberly (Moberly, MO).
