Louisiana High School Basketball - McKinley tops McDonogh 35
January 16, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70122 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA), saw McKinley's basketball squad knock off McDonogh 35 by a count of 33-19.
With the victory, McKinley upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Zachary (Zachary, LA) to play the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Zachary won 72-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Roneagles play the Reed Olympians (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. McDonogh 35 will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Olympians come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 54-41 non-league loss to Hammond (Hammond, LA).
