Stranahan Mighty Dragons (Fort Lauderdale, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Miami Stingarees (Miami, FL), 72-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stranahan upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Mighty Dragons travel to Taravella (Coral Springs, FL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Taravella lost 89-49 in their recent non-league bout against Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Next up, the Stingarees play the Braddock Bulldogs (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Miami will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 70-64 non-league loss to Ferguson (Miami, FL).
