Alabama High School Basketball - St. Luke's Episcopal can't hold off Murphy
January 16, 2023: Mobile, AL 35401 The Murphy Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats to 43 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gulf Shores for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Murphy will battle a Dolphins team coming off a 49-38 league loss to Elberta (Elberta, AL). The Dolphins record now stands at 2-10.
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL). The Chieftains come into the 2A Area 1 contest with a 6-11 record.
