January 16, 2023: Edison, NJ 08820 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) and the visiting Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ), saw St. Thomas Aquinas's basketball squad wallop Plainfield by a tally of 82-48.
With the victory, St. Thomas Aquinas improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. St. Joseph won 58-44 in their recent league challenge against Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
