Georgia High School Basketball - Southwest Atlanta Christian can't hold off Walker

January 16, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30331

The Walker Wolverines basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors to 56 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Monday.

The Wolverines now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Cobb Christian for a AA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Walker will battle a Eagles team coming off a 69-44 non-league win over Woodland (Stockbridge, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-4.

The Warriors (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Red Devils come into the A D2 Region 7B contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Bowdon was nudged by Greenforest (Decatur, GA), 99-49, in a league contest.
