January 16, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) and the visiting AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA), saw St. Albert's basketball squad overcome AHSTW by a tally of 52-34.
With the victory, St. Albert improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to confront the Monarchs in a Hawkeye Ten challenge on Friday, January 20. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Denison-Schleswig lost 52-22 in their recent league challenge against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
Next up, the Vikings confront the IKM/Manning Wolves (Manning, IA) in a Western Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. AHSTW will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 38-25 league win over Riverside (Oakland, IA).
