Louisiana High School Basketball - Ascension Catholic crushes Capitol
January 16, 2023: Donaldsonville, LA 70346 Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), 69-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ascension Catholic upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Christ Episcopal School won 30-19 in their recent non-league bout against Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA)
Next up, the Lions clash with the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Capitol will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 44-33 league win over E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA).
