Louisiana High School Basketball - Bell City tops Oakdale
January 16, 2023: Bell City, LA 70630 Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA), 44-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bell City upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bruins host Hathaway (Jennings, LA) to play the Hornets in a B District 6 bout on Monday, January 23. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 21-4. Hathaway won 67-40 in their recent league bout against Lacassine (Lacassine, LA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA) in a 2A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Oakdale will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 0-16 record after their 78-27 league loss to Rosepine (Rosepine, LA).
