Missouri High School Basketball - Laquey overwhelms Bourbon
January 16, 2023: Laquey, MO 65534 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO) and the visiting Bourbon War Hawks (Bourbon, MO), saw Laquey's basketball squad wallop Bourbon by a count of 61-32.
With the victory, Laquey upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Newburg (Newburg, MO) to play the Wolves in a Frisco challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Newburg lost 55-52 in their recent league challenge against Crocker (Crocker, MO)
Next up, the War Hawks play the Bismarck Indians (Bismarck, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Bourbon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 39-38 league win over Arcadia Valley (Ironton, MO).
