January 16, 2023: Sherrard, IL 61281 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Central/Southeastern Panthers (Camp Point, IL) and the host Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL), saw Central/Southeastern's basketball squad overcome Sherrard by a tally of 46-32.
With the victory, Central/Southeastern improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Havana (Havana, IL) to confront the Ducks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Ducks come into the challenge with a record of 18-3. Havana won 59-39 in their recent league challenge against Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) in a Three Rivers - West challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Sherrard will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL).
