Washington High School Basketball - Lincoln can't hold off Emerald Ridge
January 16, 2023: South Hill, WA 98374 The Lincoln Abes basketball team (Tacoma, WA), was nudged 49-46 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA)
The Jaguars now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graham-Kapowsin for a 4A South Puget Sound - South battle on Tuesday, January 17. Emerald Ridge will battle a Eagles team coming off a 68-30 league loss to Olympia (Olympia, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-10.
The Abes (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Stadium (Tacoma, WA). The Tigers come into the 3A Pierce County battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Stadium was nudged by Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA), 71-50, in a league battle.
