Illinois High School Basketball - Maine East fells Harvard
January 16, 2023: Harvard, IL 60033 Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), 39-20 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Maine East upgrades its record to 3-21 on the season. The Blue Demons travel to Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Waukegan lost 48-44 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL)
Next up, the Hornets play the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Harvard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 55-24 non-league loss to Willows Academy (Des Plaines, IL).
