California High School Basketball - North fells King/Drew
January 16, 2023: Torrance, CA 90504 North Saxons (Torrance, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 63-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Saxons travel to El Segundo (El Segundo, CA) to play the Eagles in a Pioneer bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-10. El Segundo won 47-32 in their recent non-league bout against Vistamar (El Segundo, CA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coliseum bout, on Wednesday, January 18. King/Drew will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 88-18 league win over George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA).
