Iowa High School Basketball - Logan-Magnolia tops West Monona
January 16, 2023: Onawa, IA 51040 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) and the host West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), saw Logan-Magnolia's basketball squad knock off West Monona by a count of 53-42.
With the victory, Logan-Magnolia upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA) to play the Big Reds in a Western Iowa challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Big Reds come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Missouri Valley lost 67-24 in their recent league challenge against Underwood (Underwood, IA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA) in a Western Valley - North challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. West Monona will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 66-18 league loss to Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA).
