Georgia High School Basketball - Paideia fells McDonough
January 16, 2023: McDonough, GA 30253 Paideia Pythons (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA), 39-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Paideia upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Pythons host Drew (Riverdale, GA) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Drew won 47-17 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA)
Next up, the Warhawks play the Pace Academy Knights (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 20. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to Riverwood (Atlanta, GA).
