New Jersey High School Basketball - Sayreville overwhelmed by Piscataway
January 16, 2023: Piscataway, NJ 08854 The Piscataway Chiefs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Sayreville Bombers to 15 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Monday.
The Chiefs now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - Red contest on Tuesday, January 17. Piscataway will battle a Vikings team coming off a 63-52 league win over Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 10-2.
The Bombers (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Linden (Linden, NJ). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record.
