Nebraska High School Basketball - Sioux City West ripped by Skutt Catholic
January 16, 2023: Omaha, NE 68130 The Skutt Catholic SkyHawks basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Sioux City West Wolverines to 34 in the SkyHawks non-league triumph on Monday.
The SkyHawks now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gross Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Skutt Catholic will battle a Cougars team coming off a 52-17 non-league loss to Duchesne (Omaha, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 1-12.
The Wolverines (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets enter the Missouri River contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was routed by Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 64-18, in a league contest.
