The Panthers now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newnan for a battle on Friday, January 20. Langston Hughes will battle a Cougars team coming off a 50-29 league loss to East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-8.
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Fayette County was overwhelmed by McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA), 34-19, in a non-league battle.
